Stellenbosch songbird Luna Paige will end her Oceanic Heart Tour with a performance at the Drostdy Theatre in Stellenbosch on Saturday 14 June. The tour saw the local singer travel across the country, starting in the Western and Eastern Cape in February, before moving to north with performances in the Karoo, Free State, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Gauteng, North-West and at the STRAB festival in Mozambique. With Oceanic Heart, she brings music lovers a collection of songs that celebrate the comprehensive nature of love. Paige sings about romantic love, love between friends and family, and the deep connection between humans and their animals. She sings about love of nature, travel, love of neighbours, and most importantly – self-love. Besides performing original material, Paige will also perform specially selected songs by songwriters she admires such as Neil Young, Nick Cave, Carole King, Norah Jones, Janis Joplin, and more. The concert coincides with the Drostdy Theatre’s 10th birthday celebration programme and the popular WinterFest. Tickets cost R350 each, and includes dinner at 18:00 and the concert at 20:00.
