The Invitational Team celebrated their victory over Simondium Private School in the final of the Lynton Lackay Schools under-12 Cricket Tournament, held at the Groot Drakenstein Games Club on Wednesday 12 March.
The Invitational Team recorded a convincing 41-run win to claim the tournament spoils.
On the batting front, Joel Lackay (20) and Waylin Slinger (12) top-scored for the Invitational Team, while Slinger (3/2) and Riley Claasen were on song in the bowling department. Riley Adams was also outstanding in the field, as he managed to get two run-outs in his team’s brilliant victory.
