Stellenbosch locals were among the many festival goers who attended the launch event of the inaugural Hazendal Festival: SOIL Edition on Friday 4 October. Barbara and Beatrice Fassler, both from Stellenbosch and Lungi Morrison (Waterkant, Cape Town) rubbed shoulders on launch night. From a two-day symposium to artist installations and performances, children’s workshops and live music, the three-day event engaged all the senses through a series of unique experiences.
