Members of Western Cape On Wellness (Wow) were challenged by Lions Club Stellenbosch to prepare a pot of food (akhni [mince biryani], soup or any dish of their choice) for six or seven people to be distributed. Likewise, the Ebenhaezer Neighbourhood Watch, with their WhatsApp group of 106 participants, covering the area around Home Ebenhaezer from Williams Street to February Street, Cloetesville, received the same challenge – and as part of their Mandela Day celebrations the challengers delivered on their challenge.
