After 22 years in Twin Oaks, Shop no 5 at 56 Bird Street will finally close its doors at the end of September. The dedicated family provided spices for scrumptious curries, breyanis, stews, aromatic teas, atjar and much more. “This vibrant shop was always infused with fragrant incense, friendliness, compassion and love”, said loyal customer Dr Annemarie Grundlingh. “A little gem, which embraced diversity and friendships will be sorely missed. The Lalla family would like to thank all their customers, hair salons, barbers and restaurants abundantly for their loyal support through all these years. “May you all be blessed.” Pictured are owners Kantilall and Nirmala Lalla.
