The concert will feature the pianist Gerhard Joubert and violinist Johanna Roos, who will discuss the work and history of the music before the performance. • Stellenbosch: Fundamano 3 unpacks the secrets of creativity across mathematics, music and several other artforms, including quantum physics, at the DROSTDY THEATRE at 20:15. The Fundamano production celebrates and showcases the creative side of maths, while the storyline of each show takes the audience on a journey of discovery, surprise laughter and unveiling of maths that you might not have known to exist. The production centres on two scientists, two secrets and two sides. In a wartime laboratory where logic meets lunacy, the brilliant buffoons discover consciousness can be bottled, transferred, and thoroughly botched. Armed with tin-can telephones, cold irons, and catastrophically bad judgment, they’ll stop at nothing to cheat death. Between philosophical feuds about feathers and anatomical exchanges gone wrong, watch as creators become creatures in this darkly comic dance of desperate doctors.
