Four-year-old Jose Anthony, who is so proud of her handiwork, is one of the preschool children privileged to attend the Imbali Visual Literacy Programme (VLP) in Kylemore. Junior and senior learners from the dorpie will exhibit their work at Frank’s Haven Crèche in Skool Street, Kylemore this Saturday (24 September) at 10:00, as their contribution to the e’Bosch celebrations of Heritage Month. The VLP not only instils self-confidence in learners, but also stimulates their creative abilities with experienced teachers conveying important visual literacy skills. This has brought about a greater awareness of the community of the value of visual literacy. Also pictured is an artwork by 12-year-old learner Jefferine Robyn.
