The u-14A water polo team of Paul Roos Gymnasium (PRG) successfully defended their title for the third time at the Jason Murray Tournament. The team recorded victories over Grey High u-14B (9-0), Hudson u-14A (12-2), Selborne u-14A (4-1), Stirling u-14A (4-1), Woodridge u-14A (9-2) and Selborne u-13A (8-0) in the pool stages. They took on Paarl Boys’ u-14A team in the semi-finals and were victorious by 3-2, and went on to lock horns with Selborne u-14A in the final to walk away 4-3 victors. The PRG team also won awards for team gees and team with the best manners, while Jack Schliemann was named the tournament’s most attacking player.
