Start getting into the Christmas spirit at the first Stellenbosch Mom’s Biz Network Christmas Market.
Creativity, connection and community spirit will take centre stage at Aunty Sophie se Kombuis in Noordwal Street, Stellenbosch, on Saturday 29 November.
The market, which promises to be a vibrant mix of local talent, unique gifts, and festive fun, will be hosted by the Mom’s Biz Network.
The network started in 2022 when eight women got together over coffee to discuss the challenges they were facing as small business owners.
Since then the group has grown to 1 800 members, which has expanded to eight chapters across the province, and a new chapter opening soon in Johannesburg.

The aim of the network is to support and connect female business owners. Locals can help support woman entrepreneurs from Stellenbosch and get various gifts to fill the Christmas stockings at the market.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of handmade crafts, jewellery and artwork from local creators, along with delicious pantry goodies, sweet treats and handcrafted body products. Shoppers will also find adorable baby clothing and accessories, thrift treasures and a local bookstore offering great reads for all ages.
For those seeking a moment of calm amid the festivities, 15-minute Ensofic Reiki sessions will be available, promoting relaxation and balance. A children’s play area and face-painting will keep the little ones entertained, making it a true family outing.
The event organisers at the local market are proud Mom’s Biz Network members, and each item on sale tells a story of creativity, passion and the entrepreneurial spirit of local women.
Take the whole family along and spend a beautiful day supporting local moms, discovering hidden gems and celebrating the season of giving.
The market runs from 09:00 to 14:00.
