Visit the Daisy Jones Bar at Summerhill Estate outside Stellenbosch this Sunday (3 August) at 15:00 for an African Folk music experience. It features five singer-songwriters with just their instruments and a story to tell with their songs. The artists are Nick Turner, Luna Paige (left), Stanley Sibande, Divine Mahara and Avril Mkansi. Each performer will incorporate their home language in their sets, covering English, Tsonga, Afrikaans, Shona and Bemba, making the concert more special and personal. While guests will enjoy short sets of three to five songs from each performer, there will also be collaborations. Tickets bought online via Quicket cost R160 each, while those bought at the door will cost R190 per person. For table bookings of four to six people, send a WhatsApp message to 064 968 2015.
