The Eunice High School received a whole string of accolades during the Mangaung Metropolitan Education District (MMED) Well Done Function on Saturday 28 February.

This is for the school’s matric results for 2025.

Eunice was awarded the following accolades for 15 candidates or more per subject:

  • First place in six subjects in the district.
  • First place in four subjects in the Free State.
  • Second place in two subjects in the Free State.
  • First in the MMED and Free State for Afrikaans (first additional language), English (home language), Consumer Studies, and History.
  • First in the MMED and second in the Free State in Accounting and Computer Applications Technology (CAT).

The school was also awarded the following recognition:

  • Highest Bachelor Pass (District Top 5).
  • Highest Distinction Rate (Quintiles 4 and 5) with 418 distinctions (without remarking).

At the Free State Well Done Function in January, Eunice also received an

accoloade for being a Top 10 Performing School in Mathematics in the Free State.
