A matric learner of the Brebner Secondary School in Bloemfontein is enjoying the fruits of his labour after receiving exceptional recognition during the school’s prize-giving ceremony.
Kamohelo Mahao made a great impression, taking home at least 17 certificates of recognition on 16 August.
He achieved excellent marks in Mathematics, Physical Science and Accounting.
He was also lauded as the overall best performing learner and received a standing ovation for his commitment towards his studies, much to the delight of his parents.
Kamohelo has aspirations of pursuing a career in either medicine, engineering or the accounting field. His academic performance has stood him in good stead to pursue his dreams, with most of the universities he has applied for having provisionally accepted him.
He will make a decision after receiving the results of his final Gr. 12 examination.
