Through regular outreaches and other vaccination opportunities, 611 342 vaccines were administered in the Cape Winelands by 7 February. <\/p>\n
The vaccination service has been well established at Western Cape Health\u2019s facilities and it will continue, but make sure you are aware of the latest programme on vaccination opportunities. Some of the first changes include that from 14 February people in Worcester can visit Worcester Town Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 09:00 to 15:00 for vaccination\/booster doses. In Wellington vaccination\/boosters are now available from Mondays to Thursdays (08:00-19:00) at Wellington Community Day Centre in Dr Abdurahman Avenue, and on Fridays from 08:00 to 15:00 until further notice. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt is almost a year since the first vaccinations were administered in the Cape Winelands,\u201d says Handri Liebenberg who coordinates the roll-out of the vaccine for Western Cape Health in this area. <\/p>\n

\u201cAs the pandemic progressed, Covid-19 related services have become part of our package of services. We are now adapting our initiatives so that vaccinations and booster doses will increasingly only be available at healthcare facilities.
