Agape Dadana, who was cradled and cultivated in the community of Zwelethemba, aims to inspire the vulnerable youth in the area using media that are second nature to them.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old financial consultant\u2019s new podcast, Rewriting history <\/i>with Agape Dadana<\/i>, is a platform for educating his peers and inspiring change within. \u201cI have seen the struggles of my community and know these are universal to youth all over South Africa,\u201d he told Standard<\/i>. <\/p>\n
\u201cI want to change the mindsets of those in need of information with valuable lessons and stories.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added lack of knowledge is born from a serious lack, which young people in particular have, and that is not picking up a book, not reading anymore. <\/p>\n
\u201cI want to revive the art of storytelling. There are so many stories to tell and so much to learn. I am very picky with my guests and want to add value to the lives of those who listen.\u201d <\/p>\n
Dadana is also open to collaboration and wants to work with aspiring artists, musicians, filmmakers, photographers and anyone else who\u2019s open to learning and teaching others.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am a musician and writer myself,\u201d he says. \u201cI am looking to form a community of people with a need to showcase their talents and inspire others to dream.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dadana\u2019s podcast is available on YouTube, and he is excited about growing this passion into something life changing.<\/p>\n
He will remain in his work field, but will balance his priorities to reach the success he wants in life, something he managed to do from a young age. <\/p>\n
