Elke Donderdag het Miemie die Rottweiler getrou langs haar eienaar se sy gestaan waar hy die Standard<\/span><\/i>verkoop het. Nou is Miemie se stem stil en het die 49-jarige Dennis Bezuidenhout nie meer iemand om sy kos mee te deel nie.<\/p>\n

\n Standard <\/i>het in 2020 oor Dennis en sy geliefde hond, Miemie, berig. Hierdie dinamiese duo was elke Donderdag, in mooi en gure weer, op hul pos in Baringstraat.<\/p>\n

Inwoners was gaande oor Miemie en die \u201cRottie\u201d is oral waar hulle gekom het, bederf.<\/p>\n

As Dennis een keer per week na die munisipaliteit toe gegaan het, het werknemers daar Miemie gereeld met kos en lekkernye bederf.<\/p>\n

\u201cEk het alles vir haar gegee. Ek sou nie eet as ek geweet het Miemie het nog nie ge\u00ebet nie. Sy is nou net weg, en dit is baie stil sonder haar,\u201d vertel \u2019n emosionele Dennis aan Standard<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Miemie is onlangs een oggend dood aangetref nadat sy vir \u2019n paar dae \u2019n bietjie olik gelyk het. Dennis s\u00ea hy het alles probeer, maar dit was tevergeefs. <\/p>\n

\u201cEk weet nie hoe om sonder haar aan te gaan nie. Die mense wat ons elke week ondersteun het, wil ook weet, en dit maak my hart seer om vir hulle te moet s\u00ea sy is dood. Sy was \u2019n baie liefdevolle hond en het geen moeite vereis nie. Sy het oral saam met my gestap en my altyd veilig gehou,\u201d s\u00ea Dennis.<\/p>\n

\u2019n Inwoner van die dorp het Standard <\/i>in 2020 gekontak en vertel van die koerantverkoper en sy hond wat weekliks \u2019n glimlag op haar gesig laat.<\/p>\n

\u201cDennis is baie vriendelik en het so mooi na sy hond omgesien. Hy sou sy laaste gee om haar te versorg en te verseker sy was veilig,\u201d het die vrou aan Standard <\/i>ges\u00ea.<\/p>\n

Dennis, wat voorheen as \u2019n plaaswerker buite die dorp gewerk het, vertel hy het in die winter vir Miemie \u2019n jassie aangetrek en \u2019n kombers saamgeneem as hy gaan werk het.<\/p>\n

\u201cNou is die jassie en die kombers maar by die huis. Ek sal dalk oorweeg om eendag weer \u2019n hond te kry, maar nie nou nie. Sy het my gered in \u2019n tyd toe ek deur diepe waters gegaan het,\u201d s\u00ea hy.<\/p>\n

Dennis en Miemie is bekend op Facebook aangesien talle inwoners al foto\u2019s en video\u2019s van die twee gedeel het. \u201cDit is asof sy my gehelp het om koerante te verkoop. Die mense was lief vir haar, maar nie so lief soos ek haar gehad het nie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dennis het destyds in 2020 ges\u00ea hy wil so lank as wat hy gespaar bly, die Standard <\/i>verkoop en het ges\u00ea met Miemie aan sy sy kan hy die w\u00eareld in die o\u00eb kyk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
