DE DOORNS – Roxanne Robinson, a mother of two and full-time employee at Cape Winelands District Municipality, has emerged as a beacon of hope and determination in her community. As a finalist in the Mrs Bold South Africa pageant, Robinson\u2019s journey reflects her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.<\/p>\n
Robinson\u2019s path to the finals of the pageant has been marked by both challenges and triumphs. Despite facing obstacles along the way she remains steadfast in her mission to use her platform to address pressing issues facing her community, including abortion, teenage pregnancies, distribution of sanitary pads in schools and advocating for women who have experienced divorce.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor me being a finalist is an honour and a true privilege,\u201d Robinson shared. \u201cThis platform gives me the opportunity to reach even more people and make an even bigger difference in so many lives.\u201d <\/p>\n
Born and raised in De Doorns, Robinson is deeply connected to her community and is determined to use her platform to bring attention to issues that matter most to its residents. <\/p>\n
From tackling rising murder rates to inspiring individuals to strive for a better life, her aspirations extend far beyond the glitz and glamour of the pageant stage.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to inform our community that it does not matter where you come from; you can still make something of your life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite the demands of balancing her responsibilities as a finalist with her personal and professional life Robinson remains resolute in her dedication to her cause. <\/p>\n
With the support of her family, friends, and sponsors such as Nico Swanepoel, who generously sponsored her trip to a recent workshop in Johannesburg, she continues to navigate the challenges with grace and determination.<\/p>\n
Looking ahead, Robinson\u2019s aspirations extend beyond the Mrs Bold South Africa pageant. With a vision to redefine community work and leave a lasting legacy she aims to give back to her community in ways that transcend traditional notions of charity.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith the help of my community I want to give community work a new face and meaning,\u201d she affirmed. \u201cIt\u2019s not just about giving back; it\u2019s about what you leave behind and the way you approach people and deal with challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n
