Die doel is om hulle te bemagtig om klein ondernemings te vestig wat \u2019n volhoubare lewensbestaan vir hul gesinne sal bied.<\/p>\n<p>Die infrastruktuur wat beskikbaar was by die Robertson informele handelsgebied was redelik beperk. Handelaars het uitdagings soos onvoldoende toiletgeriewe en \u2019n gebrek aan beskerming teen gure weer in die gesig gestaar. <\/p>\n<p>Daarbenewens was daar \u2019n tekort aan geskikte werkgebiede, veral vir voedselhandelaars. Hierdie fase van die projek beoog om sulke kwessies reg te stel deur noodsaaklike infrastruktuur te verskaf. Soortgelyke pogings was suksesvol in Montagu en Bonnievale, danksy finansiering van die Wes-Kaapse departement van ekonomiese ontwikkeling en toerisme.<\/p>\n<p>Die beplande werk by die terrein sluit in die bou van \u2019n toilet vir gestremdes, die opgradering van die huidige ablusiegerief en die konstruksie van nuwe stalletjies met die gebruik van strukturele staal.<\/p>\n<p>Daarbenewens sluit die projek die herstel van slaggate en die vernuwing van die oppervlak in. Die verbetering van hierdie fasiliteite is in lyn met die munisipaliteit se toerismestrategie, wat die omgewing meer aantreklik sal maak vir beide handelaars en toeriste.<\/p>\n<p>Algehele ondersteuning vir die handelaars van die PEO-afdeling dek ook aspekte van ondernemingsontwikkeling, insluitend opleiding, vaardigheidsontwikkeling, voorsiening vir opgegradeerde toerusting en besigheidsregistrasie. Die projek is geskeduleer vir voltooiing teen 30 Junie, en sal meer as 50 informele handelaars kan akkommodeer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die Robertson- informele
