The abalone, periwinkle and galjoen found by police in the car of a Worcester resident, landed him in hot water last week.\r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The man, a resident of Florian Park, was arrested on Friday 12 September around 18:00 by the Worcester Police when they followed up on information that he may be transporting these illegal goods. His vehicle was spotted on the Aan De Doorns Road in Johnson Park.\r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was found to be in possession of 287 abalone, ten galjoen and 180 periwinkle (alikreukel).\r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
