As Hoof van die Eenheid Kliniese Pediatriese Pulmonologie en die Eenheid Pediatriese Intensiewe Sorg by die Tygerberg-hospitaal en die Universiteit Stellenbosch (US), beleef Goussard die uiters dringende behoefte aan gevorderde mediese toerusting eerstehands.
