These awards are an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work of teachers during the past year \u2013 one that has been made especially difficult by the Covid-19 pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cecilia de Vries from Langebaanweg Primary School kept the West Coast\u2019s name high and won the excellence award in Grade R teaching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Western Cape minster of Education of Debbie Sch\u00e4fer said the provincial winners this year have demonstrated their dedication to the education of the children in the toughest of
