Slegs ure nadat regter Nathan Erasmus vandag (Vrydag 2 Mei) Kelly Smith, Boeta Apollis en Steveno van Rhyn skuldig bevind het op aanklagte van ontvoering en mensehandel wat verband hou met die verdwyning van Kelly se sesjarige dogter Joshlin, is die houthuisie waarin Kelly saam met Boeta en haar drie kinders in die Middelpos- informele nedersetting in Saldanha gewoon het, afgebrand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die provinsiale polisie het die nuus in ‘n persverklaring bevestig en ges\u00ea ‘n vrou is intussen ingeneem vir ondervraging na die voorval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die houthuisie het tot op die grond afgebrand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘n Bron in die gebied het aan Weslander<\/em> ges\u00ea dat niemand het tyde van die voorval binne die huisie was nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weslander<\/em> het in Maart vanjaar berig dat Smith en Apollis geskok was om tydens ‘n ter plaatse ondersoek<\/a> van die gebied wat deur Erasmus gelas is, te sien dat ander mense hul intrek in die huisie geneem het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In ‘n video wat reeds wyd op sosiale media versprei is word gesien hoe mense luidkeels voor die brandende huisie juig en dans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die groenoog meisiekind word sedert Februarie verlede jaar vermis. Ondanks die feit dat daar tot op hede geen teken van haar is nie, het Erasmus vandag in sy uitspraak<\/a> in die opspraakwekkende saak wat vir nege weke in die Veeldoelige Sentrum in White City, Saldanha, aangehoor is, ges\u00ea die staat het daarin geslaag om Smith, Apollis en Van Rhyn bo alle twyfel skuldig te bewys. ‘n Datum vir die vonnisoplegging moet nog vasgemaak word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
