Dr Lesley Welman (63), a lecturer in the Faculty of Military Science at the Military Academy in Saldanha, received his second doctorate in the Department of Social Development from the University of the Western Cape on Tuesday 15 April.\r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Armed also with a PhD in Human Geography, Welman said his greatest drive in pursuing such an academic journey is a desire to contribute to the existing body of knowledge, adding to the solving of socio-economic real-world problems to make a positive impact on society. \r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
