Today is the last chance for brides who married in September to enter the annual Weslander<\/i> en Weskus Mall Bride of the competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fourth Bride of the Year was crowned this month. Yvette Gillespie from Vredenburg walked away with romantic getaways, free accommodation at the five star Commadore Hotel in the V&A Waterfront, cash prizes and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brides who were wed in September have until Thursday 27 October to enter the 2016-\u201917\u00ad competition and make their way to the final crowning which will be held next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just like this year\u2019s event, the fifth bridal gala will be a grand affair at the West Coast Mall. Here all 12 months\u2019 winners will take to the catwalk and display their dresses and their sparkling personalities to the panel of judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our panel of independent judges will choose our bridal winner and her two princesses. Then there is also the ever popular Viewers Choice competition where Weslander<\/i> readers will get the chance to vote for their favourite bride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition is open to all brides older than 18 years, who married between September 2016 and August 2017. Participants enter the competition the month after they were wed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bride has to live in Weslander<\/i> distribution area or had to live there until the date of her wedding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Entries cost R250. Entry forms should be accompanied by a head and shoulders as well as a full length photograph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
