This week is the last chance for October brides to enter the annual Weslander<\/i> en Weskus Mall Bride of the Year competition. Entries for the fifth competition opened in September. Brides have to get their entries in the month after they were wed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ladies who were married in October have until Friday 25 November to enter. A panel of independent judges will then select one bride from the group of newlyweds. The winning bride of October will be announced in the next edition of Weslander<\/i>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One bride is selected each month with each month\u2019s winner that will then go on to take part in the gala event next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s winning bride, Yvette Gillespie from Vredenburg, walked away with romantic getaways, free accommodation at the five star Commadore Hotel in the V&A Waterfront, cash prizes and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition is open to all brides 18 years and older, who married between September 2016 and August 2017. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bride has to live in Weslander<\/i>\u2019s distribution area or lived there until the date of her wedding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Entries cost R250. Entry forms should be accompanied by a head and shoulders as well as a full length photograph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
