Present on the day was Saldanha Bay Municipality (SBM) Mayor Andr\u00e9 Truter, Deputy Mayor Charmaine Laubscher, Ward Councillor Wilhelm America and Councillor Jaco Kotze. Truter said he was blown away by what had been achieved in so short a time. \u201cThis is an absolutely amazing team of volunteers who have turned this facility into an animal sanctuary,\u201d he said. \u201cThe animals look amazing and are super relaxed.\u201d Truter added that during his tour of the facility he saw that every single detail was seen to. \u201cTheir single focus is the welfare of the animals. Present on the day was Saldanha Bay Municipality (SBM) Mayor Andr\u00e9 Truter, Deputy Mayor Charmaine Laubscher, Ward Councillor Wilhelm America and Councillor Jaco Kotze. Truter said he was blown away by what had been achieved in so short a time. \u201cThis is an absolutely amazing team of volunteers who have turned this facility into an animal sanctuary,\u201d he said. \u201cThe animals look amazing and are super relaxed.\u201d Truter added that during his tour of the facility he saw that every single detail was seen to. \u201cTheir single focus is the welfare of the animals. This facility deserves our support and is a true asset to the area.
