Contestants part of Mrs South Africa are working towards the grand final and according to West Coast\u2019s Laura Franzman-Botha the experience is empowering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the finalists of the pageant, this past weekend she and 820 other contestants took part in pageant workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs always the workshops help and guide us with the journey going forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe breakfast event was absolutely empowering with key note speaker Alison Botha sharing her \u2018Attitude, Believe and Choice [ABC]\u2019 method that can be used for any challenges we face,\u201d she explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Joani Johnson, Mrs South Africa CEO, the pageant prided itself on offering semi-finalists the chance to receive mentorship, expert guidance and advice from experienced leaders in the industry. \u201cOverall, skills workshops are a vital component of the Mrs South Africa programme, offering valuable learning experiences and acting as a platform for growth, skills development, and inspiration,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith this training behind them, we often hear inspiring stories of former participants who have gone on to earn new job opportunities, start their own businesses, and make a real impact in their communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saturday\u2019s one-day workshop featured a line-up of guest speakers and industry experts who shared insights into online content creation, social media management, media and public relations, sponsorship acquisition and management, and emotional intelligence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
