Flower season in the West Coast National Park is at its peak from August to September annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During these two months visitors to the park will see a wide variety of flowers on display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Large areas of flowers can be seen in the Seeberg, Mooimaak, and Postberg areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Visitors to these areas must remember basic safety measures so that they can remember the outing for all the right reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf you stop anywhere along the side of the road to get out and view the flowers, please remember not to leave any valuable items in your car where they are in full view of anyone walking past,\u201d says Fidelity ADT\u2019s regional manager, Jade Hanning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMake sure your car is locked properly and that the windows are closed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keep in mind there are specific requirements that apply inside the park itself, such as a posted 50 km\/h speed limit and a request for people to stay inside their cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Several areas are also off-limits to members of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hanning also recommends keeping emergency contact numbers saved onto your phone, which should include contact details for anyone who can offer roadside assistance in case of a breakdown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
