Louis Muller (40), \u2019n algemene praktisyn in Vredenburg, wat op Woensdag 11 September dood is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muller is omstreeks 07:35 op slag dood toe die Suzuki-motor waarin hy van Langebaan na Vredenburg onderweg was, reg van voor teen \u2019n vragmotor gebots het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die vragmotor was op pad na Kaapstad toe die ongeluk op die Weskuspad (R27) tussen Vlakvarkgat en die Engen-eenstop gebeur het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elowayne Gouws van West Coast Medical Rescue het bevestig Muller was reeds dood toe hulle eerste op die ongelukstoneel afgekom het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die vragmotorbestuurder en sy twee passasiers het ligte beserings opgedoen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die maatskappy waarvoor hulle werk, het hulle self dokter toe geneem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Weskuspad was vir \u2019n hele paar uur gesluit sodat reddingswerkers die dokter uit die voertuig kon lossny en die wrakstukke wat oor die pad gesaai gel\u00ea het, kon opruim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muller, \u2019n oud-hoofseun van die Ho\u00ebrskool Vredenburg, het in 2012 as dokter begin praktiseer nadat hy aan die Universiteit Stellenbosch medies gestudeer en in 2008 gegradueer het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div contenteditable=\"false\" data-embed24=\"Images\" data-pos=\"middle\" id=\"embed_b268444b\">\n<div class=\"slide\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-smallsrc=\"https:\/\/cdn.24.co.za\/files\/Cms\/General\/d\/12199\/c00ac15d8a9d4b7e9a868427e22da65a.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/weslander\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/43d4854cba4847d195c86896436144a0.jpg\" title=\"Dr Louis Muller het ook destyds \u2019n mediese rubriek in Weslander hanteer, getiteld \u201cVra die dokter\u201d.\"><p><\/p>\n<div class=\"caption\">Dr Louis Muller het ook destyds \u2019n mediese rubriek in Weslander hanteer, getiteld \u201cVra die dokter\u201d.<\/div>\n<div class=\"img_accreditation\"><span class=\"source\" style=\"display:none;\"><\/span><span class=\"photographer\" style=\"display:none;\"><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-talentvol\">Talentvol<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Met die opening van sy eie praktyk het die spreekkamers se noukeurige binneversiering die oog gevang en die standaard geword waaraan talle spreekkamers gemeet is. Daar was iets stylvols aan di\u00e9 praktyk wat met \u2019n verslankingskliniek en ander skoonheidsdienste gekombineer is \u2013 \u2019n eerste vir die Weskus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Karin du Preez van Langebaan, \u2019n goeie vriendin van Muller, het ges\u00ea sy het nie woorde om haar hartseer te beskryf nie. \u201cDie nuus het my heeltemal uit my skoene geslaan. Louis was so \u2019n goeie mens met \u2019n hart van goud \u2013 altyd daar vir almal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens sy musiekonderwyseres op skool, Erna du Plessis, was hy \u2019n briljante musiekleerder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hy het graag klavier gespeel vir die mense na aan hom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muller het die nuus in 2020 gehaal toe hy by die dood omgedraai het as gevolg van \u2019n koronavirus wat hy opgedoen het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hy het drie dae lank bewusteloos in die waakeenheid gel\u00ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muller het ook \u2019n tyd lank \u2019n rubriek met mediese raad, getiteld \u201cVra die dokter\u201d, vir <em>Weslander <\/em>geskryf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muller se praktykpersoneel in Voortrekkerstraat het gister \u2013 op die dag van sy dood \u2013 op hul Facebook-blad aangedui dat die praktyk gesluit gaan wees tot verdere kennisgewing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teen druktyd was pogings om met Muller se naasbestaandes in verbinding te tree, nog onsuksesvol.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die Weskus word gelos met so \u2019n bietjie minder pizzazz n\u00e1 die afsterwe van die charismatiese dr.
