The second F1 Powerboat Water Festival once again saw a great turnout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festival took place from Saturday 1 to Sunday 2 March at the St Helena Bay harbour and exceeded the expectations of organisers. With sponsors help making the event a success, organisers of the event are really happy with how the two day event turned out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dino Nunes, event organiser said one of the standout moments was undoubtedly the electrifying F1 Powerboat sprints, which had the crowd on the edge of their seats. \u201cAnother deeply rewarding highlight was witnessing the joy and determination of the development class kids as they took to the water, showcasing their passion for the sport and the bright future ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that the F1 Powerboat Festival was more than just a thrilling sporting event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a platform to boost tourism, create economic opportunities, and introduce young talent to the world of powerboat racing. For the West Coast it meant increased visibility, community engagement and a positive outlet for the youth. It\u2019s our way of bringing people together while fostering love for sport and the ocean.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
