To mark the occasion, co-owners Elna and Efb\u00e9 Dippenaar, held a special birthday party for 20 kids from the Vaatjie Primary Farm School, and also donated R10 000 to the school. Customers joined in the fun popping balloons with mystery prizes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The service station has undergone extensive improvements, but has remained customer-centred. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen we started our business 20 years ago, our aim was to hire unskilled people and train them to do their jobs well,\u201d Elna pointed out. \u201cBoth of us had worked in the corporate environment before taking over the business, but we learnt more running Engen Swartland 1 Stop in just six months than during our previous careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe offer consistent quality and let the customer always feel that they are number one. We are especially proud of the number of Engen\/Wimpy awards we have won over the years and our involvement in the Atlantis community, where we support several schools and a shelter.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Engen also awarded Ella Lewis, at Engen Swartland 1-Stop from day one, with a special service award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
