The organisers of the Run Your City (RYC) Series have launched the RYC Series Running Club on Strava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the fitness app runners can connect with like-minded individuals, track training runs, view the weekly RYC Series leader board, catch up on series information, access training tips, participate in a discussion forum and be notified of upcoming events and challenges, all the while standing a chance to win spectacular prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the next weeks we will release our 2021 RYC Series Calendar on Strava,\u201d said Michael Meyer, managing director of Stillwater Sports, adding that the Cape Town 12K CityRun will be included in the line-up of ongoing and motivational challenges on the calendar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen completing events or RYC Series Running Club challenge distances on Strava, runners must record their run using a smart device and upload their results to Strava, or permanently link their device to Strava so the data will load automatically.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A leader board will be displayed on the RYC Series Running Club home page on Strava. To add to the excitement there will be amazing prizes up for grabs, compliments of event sponsors and partners. The Cape Town 12K CityRun is scheduled for Sunday 21 November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To join in the fun, runners must create an account on Strava and follow this link: https:\/\/www.strava.com\/clubs\/rycs. Once joined, they can sign up for any event and challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
