An energetic and entertaining line-up has been finalised for Cape Town\u2019s biggest street party of the year, including Mi Casa, Emo Adams, Will Linley, Abavuki, Sasha-Lee and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The annual Festive Lights Switch-On, which celebrates the official turning on of the Festive Lights in Adderley Street, Cape Town will take place on Sunday 27 November. Back with great enthusiasm, and on the theme \u201cCape Town: City of Hope\u201d, the City\u2019s annual festive lights switch-on will have the Grand Parade singing and dancing to the sounds of an energetic line-up of South Africa\u2019s best entertainers and crowd favourites as they welcome the start of summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe event promises to be a party that will appeal to the whole family,\u201d said Executive Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are looking forward to an afternoon and evening of festive fun, with an amazing line-up and, of course, the highlight of the evening, the official switch-on moment, will be followed by a fabulous and colourful video display that will illuminate the City Hall and surrounding buildings with a depiction of Cape Town\u2019s unique and compelling story of hope and resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The line-up for 2023, as in years past, speaks to a diverse audience with a little something for everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
