\u201cThis market is a great place for you to showcase your skills whether you are a baker, an arts-and-crafts guru or an up-and-coming craftsman.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event will also feature fun activities, such as buskers, emerging artists and a children\u2019s play zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn recent years neighbourhood markets have become enormously popular as people seek out artisanal treasures that give the flavour of Cape Town,\u201d the Mayco member said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMarkets have also contributed enormously to place making and cultural exchange in communities, and as Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth I am therefore pleased to support these platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese allow aspiring business owners and creators to re-establish connections with past clients, forge new ones and expand economic prospects.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Applications for trading at the market are now open with each trading bay costing R107,20 per bay\/per day for the duration of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
