He holds that the celebration of this season has the power to unite communities, heal wounded hearts, and, most importantly, bring joy to the globe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe all have fantasies about Christmas and the meaning it offers,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s time for our youngsters to experience Father Christmas\u2019 magic and be showered with gifts . . . what a wonderful sensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe worked with the organisers of the last Atlantis Heritage Market and decided to host our very first Carols at this lovely facility in Ward 32, under the tree lane,\u201d he explained about the event which took place last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raise says he was pleasantly surprised by how well the organisers, musicians, artists, and residents of the day embraced this proposal. \u201cThis was a heartfelt and selfless occasion. Smile Productions offered free sound, lighting and entertainment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All performers sang and danced with an enthusiasm and a passion that came from every fibre of their being. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is the type of involvement that Atlantis needs to bring communities together, to forget the personal anguishes of the year, not to mention the surrounding violence,\u201d said Raise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was concluded by singing Christmas carols. Raise thanked Bronwyn Manter of the City of Cape Town office and Nikita Scott, Legacy Sounds Band and all the other role-players who made the day possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
