The Atlantis wife and mom of a 19-month-old boy is reaching for the stars as one of eight semi-finalists in the Western Cape in the running for the Dallmayr Mrs South Africa 2024 title. The local founder of \u201cLiv Fit with Laverne Arnoldus\u201d, a fit-girl community fitness instructor with a passion for women\u2019s empowerment and natural-hair conversations officially set off on her Mrs South Africa journey on Friday 2 February 2024, during the pageant\u2019s National Public Casting, held at the Clearwater Mall in Roodepoort, Gauteng where about 300 contestants met. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Arnoldus, building a fit girl community in Atlantis, said of 300 entries 107 girls are left, of whom eight were from the Western Cape. \u201cIt is my time to step out, and this platform gives me the opportunity to leave my comfort zone and walk in alignment with everything God has called me to be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe top 30 will be announced on 5 July this year and that is where I want to be on that day,\u201d she added. \u201cFrom a very young age I have been intentional about living my life in a way that will inspire women, young and old. It warms my heart when I positively impact the lives of women through my passion for fitness and influence their self-image through my natural hair conversations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI believe it is a part of my personal brand, which I want to refine through the Mrs SA platform\u201d she said. \u201cI believe to empower we should be empowered. There are definitely a lot I can learn and apply not only in my business, but in my personal life and circle of influence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI know that I won\u2019t be the same after the journey and that it will change my life forever.\u201d she explained. Dallmayr Mrs South Africa is a pageant and female empowerment programme designed to unleash participants\u2019 hidden potential by teaching them valuable skills, such as leadership, financial competence, sponsorship management, communication, personal branding, and media management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
