The Atlantis Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) on Thursday 18 July organised a heart warming food drive in support of three old-age homes in the Atlantis area \u2013 Abbeyfield Home, Noah Old Age Home and Huis Sonstrale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initiative, which saw non-perishable food items generously distributed and was spearheaded by ASEZ staff members, benefited a total of 37 elderly residents. These are set to help bolster the home\u2019s food stocks. The drive is part of ASEZ\u2019s ongoing efforts to foster a sense of community and inclusion, particularly for the older citizens of Atlantis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dorinda Makka, coordinator of the local Neighbourhood Old Age Home (NOAH) in Saxonsea, expressed her gratitude. \u201cThis will give us relief from having to buy food with our government pension, which is never enough.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dora Quinn of Huis Sonstrale added: \u201cWe are largely a forgotten sector of society, and this is why we are so happy you have thought of us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
