Officers attached to the Atlantis Crime Prevention Unit were doing patrols near the Wesfleur Circle behind Midas on Friday 7 February at 04:05 when they spotted a man walking with goods in his hands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spotting the police vehicle he started running in the direction of Sherwood Park. A chase ensued and the police apprehended the suspect with stolen goods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 34-year-old man was arrested for possession of stolen property and will appear in Atlantis Magistrates\u2019 Court once charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police request that anyone who recognises the items come forward and see Detective Warrant Officer Wilmot Isaacs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The same team also found a stolen vehicle near Witsand. Captain Lisa Munro, police spokesperson, confirmed the car had been stolen somewhere in Table View the day before.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
