AfriForum het Vrydagoggend vier strafregtelike klagte by die Valke in Bethlehem teen amptenare en kontrakteurs van die plaaslike Dihlabeng-munisipaliteit gel\u00ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AfriForum het \u2019n private ondersoekbeampte gehuur om die inligting van verskeie fluitjieblasers te ondersoek. Hulle s\u00ea die sake wat nou deur die Valke ondersoek moet word, beloop sowat R85 miljoen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morn\u00e9 Mostert, hoof van plaaslike regeringsake by AfriForum, s\u00ea di\u00e9 bedrag is net bereken uit dokumente wat fluitjieblasers gelek het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDit is maar die oortjies van die seekoei. Daar is baie meer geld as net dit betrokke.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isold\u00e9 Laesecke, takvoorsitter op Bethlehem, en Mostert het die klagte by die handelseenheid van die Valke ingedien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die eerste saak handel oor beweerde tenderbedrog by die nuwe wateraanlegte wat by Mashaeng by Fouriesburg gebou word. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens die inligting wat aan die Valke voorgel\u00ea is, is \u2019n kontrakteur aanvanklik aangestel, van wie hulle toe weer die tender teruggetrek het en aan \u2019n ander kontrakteur toegeken het. Die nuwe kontrakteur het volgens die uitgelekte dokumente nie aan die vereistes van die kontrakteurs voldoen nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die tweede saak handel oor die veiligheidsdienste van die Dihlabeng-munisipaliteit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens hofdokumente het die hof in Maart vanjaar bevind \u2019n tender van R40 miljoen oor drie jaar wat aan die huidige veiligheidskontrakteur toegeken is, is nie volgens die korrekte prosedures toegeken nie. Die tenderproses moes dus weer van voor af begin word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens die fluitjieblasers is daar fakture van di\u00e9 kontrakteur wat betaal word vir dienste wat nie deel van die munisipale mandaat is nie. Dit sluit in veiligheidsdienste by politieke byeenkomste en departementele projekte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die ou OK-gebou, wat reeds inwoners van Bethlehem en sakelui in die sakesentrum warm onder die kraag het oor swak instandhouding, kom in die derde saak ter sprake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die munisipaliteit het di\u00e9 gebou in Highstraat in 2013 vir R8,7 miljoen gekoop. AfriForum s\u00ea volgens die waardasierol wat in Februarie 2017 uitgereik is, is die gebou nou R8,2 miljoen werd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Van die dokumente wat ingehandig is, wys dat \u2019n plaaslike motorhandelaar die munisipale rekening maandeliks betaal en daarop as die eienaar aangedui word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AfriForum was by die aktekantoor, waar die akte toon dat die gebou steeds aan die munisipaliteit behoort. Hulle beweer die koopbedrag wat die motorhandelaar betaal het, was net R3,2 miljoen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die vierde saak wat geopen is, handel oor diverse uitgawes vir markiestente, klankstelsels, vervoerdienste, spyseniering en kospakkies. Dieselfde motorhandelaar verskaf blykbaar ook van di\u00e9 kospakkies aan die raad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die uitgawes word aangedui op uitgelekte fakture van tussen Julie 2015 en November 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mostert s\u00ea dit gaan oor geld wat op Suid-Afrika se armes uitgegee moet word en nie \u2019n klein groepie mense moet bevoordeel nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tshediso Maitse, woordvoerder van die Dihlabeng-munisipaliteit, s\u00ea hulle het nog nie besonderhede van die klagte ontvang nie en weet nie wie aangekla is nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns sal wel met enige staatsinstansie saamwerk, soos gewoonlik, wanneer ons versoek word om dit te doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns sal daarom wag vir die proses om te ontvou en tot ons gekontak word, indien dit wel gebeur. Dan sal ons daarop kommentaar lewer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
