Die DA in die Dihlabeng-stadsraad het Eric Motloung, onlangs verkose DA-speaker, onttrek n\u00e1 pogings van die ANC om hom te isoleer en van sy posisie te vervreem om die mag in die raad en munisipaliteit te bekom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So s\u00ea Jafta Mokoena, DA-hoofsweep in die raad. Hy s\u00ea politieke partye sal nou weer kandidate moet benoem, waarvoor gestem sal moet word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens Mokoena sou Mo\u00adtloung nie verkies kon word sonder die steun van baie ontevrede ANC-raadslede nie, wat sterk glo die DA is die beste alternatief vir die verdeelde ANC wat nie in staat is om homself reg te ruk nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDie DA het raadslid Motloung vir die amp van speaker beskikbaar gestel, juis om \u2019n groter toesighoudende\u00ad rol en verantwoordelik\u00adheid by die raad oor spesifiek dienslewering te verseker.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mokoena s\u00ea nou misbruik die Vrystaatse provinsiale regering deur middel van Skully Nxangisa, LUR vir die departement samewerkende regering en tradi\u00adsionele sake, sy politieke mag om die aanstelling van \u2019n DA-speaker onwettig te laat verklaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hy beweer Nxangisa het die DA selfs met die hof gedreig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVir die DA is die waarnemende munisipale bestuurder se versuim om die integriteit van die raadsbesluit teen die onwettige aanval van Skully Nxangisa te verdedig, tesame met soortgelyke politieke struikelblokke wat handel oor belangrike raadsvergaderings, \u2019n bevestiging van die DA-koukus se siening dat slegs \u2019n DA-meerderheid \u2019n doeltreffende raad sal kan verseker.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mokoena s\u00ea die DA sal nie betrokke raak in die ANC se interne faksiegevegte wat die ver\u00admo\u00ebns van die Dihlabeng-munisipaliteit ondermyn om basiese dienste aan inwoners te lewer nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDie DA het besluit om Mo\u00adtloung te herroep omdat dit in belang van die inwoners van Dihlabeng is om die ANC toe te laat om voort te gaan met hul onvermydelike politieke selfdood. Ook om die kiesers in die munisipale verkiesing later vanjaar die kans te gee om aan die DA \u2019n oorweldigende mandaat by die stembus te gee.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nxangisa het nie gereageer op verskeie oproepe nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
