Kroonstad is getting ready for its biggest festival yet: the KIA Makietie, which the town will play host to after winning the kykNET Kw\u00eala dorp van die jaar competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All are also invited to the first ever Ignite and Revive Festival and the Trio Open Day, which will coincide with the KIA Makietie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festivities, scheduled to take place from 21 to 23 October, will be preceded by a gala dinner on Thursday, 20 October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the Friday, in conjunction with the Trio schools\u2019 open day, a jam-packed programme can be expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Saturday, local singers will contribute to the live entertain\u00adment offered in the arena by a star-studded line-up. Ruan Josh, Franja du Plessis, Bok van Blerk, Danny Smoke, Re\u00ebn, Willem Botha, Kurt Darren and Refentse are billed to entertain all in attendance over the course of the weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Famous actors Werner Coetser en Reze-Tiana Wessels of Diepe Waters<\/i>, David Viviers en Luandri Reynders of Binnelanders<\/i>, and Cedwyn Joel en Dean Smith known for their parts in Suidooster<\/i><\/span>will act as the masters of ceremonies during the festivities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n A large agricultural exhibition, as well as a market with a variety of stalls, as well as children\u2019s entertainment with Buster and Bella can be expected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n On Sunday, the weekend\u2019s festivities will be concluded with praise and worship, and a service to give thanks.
