Min of geen mense hou daarvan om te wag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ons leef in \u2019n kitstyd van alles wat vinnig en dadelik moet geskied. Van eposse tot selfs aandetes, alles moet vinnig gebeur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is dit nie dalk juis hoekom ons so groot probleem (eintlik krisis) met God se tyd het nie? Want God is alles behalwe kits, vinnig, of dadelik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daar is meer opdragte in die Woord om op die Here te wag as om haastig te wees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Jesaja 30:18 word selfs die belangrikheid van wag in die vorm van \u2019n saligspreuk beklemtoon: \u201cWant die God van reg is die Here; gelukkig is almal wat op Hom wag.\u201d (2020-vertaling; NKJV \u2013 \u201cFor the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.\u201d)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hierdie wag is egter nooit \u2019n passiewe niksdoen-tydmors-oefening nie. O nee, dit vra opsetlikheid<span> intensionaliteit<\/span>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ons is van nature op soek na vinnige en eenvoudige oplossings en antwoorde. Wag verg stilte en afsondering. Juis vanwe\u00eb die baie (duisende) stemme wat meeding om my aandag, is wag nodig om ondanks al daardie stemme stil te word sodat ek die Here se stem in my lewe die duidelikste kan hoor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is dit nie interessant dat Webster se Engelse woordeboek wag verklaar as \u201cTo stay or rest in expectation; to stop or remain stationary, till the arrival of some person or event,\u201d nie? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wag is daarom nooit passief-niksdoen-tydmors nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit is \u2019n aktiewe wag in verwagting en afwagting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mag jy minder haastig wees om baie vir die Here te doen, en meer wagtend op Hom te wees sodat jy sy hart en stem duidelik in jou lewe kan hoor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Weideman is leraar aan die NG kerk Kroonheuwel-Noord in Kroonstad <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Om te wag is nie juis enigeen wat ek ken se sterk punt nie.
