My begeertes moet dus by \u2019n plek wees waar lewe is om gesond te leef.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In die verhaal van die ryk man, en die arm Lasarus wat by die deur van die ryk man gel\u00ea het in die hoop dat hy van die oorskiet van di\u00e9 se tafel te ete sou kry, lees ons in Lukas 16 dat Lasarus na God gaan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nie omdat hy arm is nie, maar omdat hy afhanklik van God en sy Woord is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die ryk man gaan hel toe <span>\u2013<\/span> nie omdat hy ryk is nie, maar omdat dit hom daarvan weerhou het om in afhanklikheid van God te lewe en om hulp aan sy naaste te gee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die ryk man sterf en praat vanuit die hel en wil graag wees waar Lasarus nou is, maar dit is te laat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jy kan nie n\u00e1 die dood meer kies nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hy rig nog \u2019n versoek vanuit die dood dat iemand met sy broers gaan praat sodat hulle tot ander insigte sal kom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maar Abraham s\u00ea: <span>As hulle na Moses en die profete nie luister nie, sal hulle nie oortuig word nie al sou iemand uit die dood opstaan<\/span>.<span> \u2013 (Lukas 16:31) <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nie eens \u2019n besoek vanuit die doderyk kan \u2019n mens verander en tot bekering bring oor jou begeertes nie. Jy moet self aanvaar en glo dat die dinge van Moses en die profete, hul Bybel van destyds, die beste is. Daarom moet jou begeerte wees om dit na te streef. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solank jy nog begeertes het wat nie met God se Woord strook nie, sal jy altyd God se metodes betwyfel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is God self jou grootste begeerte of probeer jy Hom paai met \u2019n klompie mooi gewoontes? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gebed\">Gebed<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>\n <span>Here, maak my tog eerlik in my verhouding met U.
