<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit kom nadat \u2019n kind wat op 20 November op pad skool toe was, daar doodgery is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Verskeie klagtes oor die gevaarlike kruising by Bakenspark is al onder die Dihlabeng-munisipaliteit en owerhede se aandag gebring weens die gevaar wat padgebruikers en voetgangers trotseer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die munisipaliteit se terugvoering op navrae was dat nie nog verkeersligte aangebring kan word nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raadslede het voorgestel dat verkeersamptenare veral op spitstye die pad beman, maar hieroor is nog geen terugvoering ontvang nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marius Marais, DA raadslid in die Dihlabeng-munisipaliteit, s\u00ea hy het op verskeie geleenthede aan die plaaslike munisipaliteit, asook ander betrokke owerhede, geskryf oor die gevaar wat die pad inhou. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDie verkeer is veral op spitstye baie gevaarlik en dit wat ons die meeste gevrees het, dat iemand hulle lewe s\u00f3 gaan verloor, het toe wel gebeur.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marais s\u00ea indien die munisipaliteit en die Vrystaatse departement van polisie, paaie en vervoer strenger verkeersregulaies op die R26-roete kon instel, sou die ongeluk waarin \u2019n kind sy lewe verloor het waarskynlik voorkom kon word. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><br>  <span id=\"U101766237499VEC\" style=\"font-family:'Utopia
