Dit is \u2019n geleentheid wat gegiet is in die smeltkroes van jarelange tradisie en kompetisie. Een van die hoogtepunte op die Oos-Vrystaat-sportkalender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n <span>Ons besef nie altyd die waarde wat hierdie geleentheid en ook ander groot skolesport toernooie tot die dorp toevoeg nie. <\/span>Nie alleen is dit \u2019n welkome ekonomiese inspuiting vir alle ondernemings nie, maar dit is ook \u2019n uitstalvenster van die gesonde skolegemeenskap in Bethlehem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die stroming van wedstryde op die SuperSport Schools-platform, asook die blootstelling op DStv se kanaal 126, gee toenemend vir Bethlehem \u2019n bemarkbare nasionale voetspoor. Die gemeenskappe in en om Bethlehem besef nie altyd hoe gelukkig ons is om oor goeie, presterende ho\u00ebr- en laerskole te beskik nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat separates privilege from entitlement is gratitude,\u201d s\u00ea Bren\u00e9 Brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die gevolgtrekking is dus dat al ons skole in ons gemeenskap soos \u2019n kleinood bewaar moet word \u2013 deur ons eie gemeenskapslede, tot voordeel van die hele dorp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deur ons skole te ondersteun en u kinders aan ons toe te vertrou, doen u \u2019n belegging in die welstand van ons gemeenskap en verseker u \u2019n rooskleurige toekoms vir Bethlehem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ons sien geweldig uit na al die drama en gesonde mededinging wat hierdie naweek gaan meebring. Daar is niks mooier as om te sien dat ons jeug die keuse uitgeoefen het om voluit te leef en hul talente te ontwikkel tot eer van God nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hiermee wil ek dan elke speler, afrigter, onderwyser, ouer en borg wat by die naweek se verrigtinge betrokke is, sterkte toewens. Dit is vir my \u2019n groot voorreg om u, namens Voortrekker, uit te nooi om die dag saam met ons te kom geniet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Baie dankie aan ons beheerliggaam, ouers en onderwysers wat al weke lank werk om die derby van 2024 onvergeetlik te maak. Baie dankie aan al die skeidsregters wat gaan optree, want sonder u is geen wedstryd moontlik nie. Baie dankie aan FNB <span>Eerste Nasionale Bank <\/span>vir u betrokkenheid by hierdie Classic Clash. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ek wil my opregte dank uitspreek aan al die borge en vriende van ons skool vir u onbaatsugtige betrokkenheid. Sonder u sal dit nie moontlik wees om ons skole op hierdie vlak te bedryf nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laastens wil ek dankie s\u00ea aan elke leerling wat gaan deelneem op die sportveld, maar ook op die paviljoene. Julle is die hart van hierdie geleentheid en sonder julle sou daar nie \u2019n derby gewees het nie. Speel hard, gaan groot en maak die keuse om uitbundig en voluit te leef.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n <span>Mag hierdie dag vol opwinding, goeie sportmanskap wees en daartoe bydrae dat vriendskappe en goeie
