The DHL Stormers produced one of rugby\u2019s greatest comebacks at Thomond Park on Saturday. They defeated Munster 21-27 in a thrilling United Rugby Championship encounter that defied all expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trailing 6-21 at half-time, the Cape Town side scored 21 unanswered second-half points. This remarkable turnaround secured their first victory at the fortress-like Limerick venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visitors faced early adversity when Connor Evans received a yellow card for off-field misconduct. Despite the setback, Jurie Matthee opened scoring with a long-range penalty in the fifth minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munster captain Tadhg Beirne responded immediately, slicing through midfield for the opening try. Jack Crowley\u2019s conversion gave the hosts a 7-3 advantage before Matthee\u2019s second penalty reduced the deficit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
