Sowat 700 atlete van oor die land heen, Namibi\u00eb, Botswana en Lesotho het aan baan- en veldnommers deelgeneem.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vrydag se program het alle atletieknommers vir die ouderdomsgroepe vier tot 13 jaar behels. Die deelname aan di\u00e9 dag is baie goed deur die plaaslike gemeenskap ondersteun. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saterdag het atlete van 14 jaar tot senior deelgeneem, en die groot klomp ondersteuners is weer op uitstekende atletiek trakteer. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Olimpiese stapper Wayne Snyman van Pretoria het as beampte opgetree, en die byeenkoms is ook deur SuperSport Schools uitgesaai.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atlete van Going 4 Gold word hoofsaaklik deur Dirk Janse van Rensburg, Madr\u00e9 Haasbroek, Marietjie Venter, Ebarnie Cilliers, Jaco Cilliers, Francois Faasen, Ettienne Schoeman, Casper de Villiers, Ettiene Bossert, Gert van Rooyen, Dewald Groenewald, Frik Stander en Armand Bekker afgerig. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Ons hoop om nog een of twee afrigters by te voeg, binne die volgende week of twee,&#8221; s\u00ea Haasbroek.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sy is die dogter van Janse van Rensburg, wat 25 jaar gelede afrigting begin bied het, hoofsaaklik met die doel om haar af te rig. Venter het haar kort daarna by Dirk aangesluit om haar dogter Rozel af te rig. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hierna het die betrokkenheid vinnig gegroei en het Dirk en Marietjie besluit om &#8216;n klub te stig, met die hulp van ouers en atlete. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die klub het atlete van oor die Vrystaat heen, asook van KwaZulu-Natal. Klublede neem benewens baan- en veldnommers aan padwedlope en marathonne deel. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atlete, van vier jaar oud tot seniors, kan hulle by die klub aansluit.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Going 4 Gold het die afgelope drie maande Goble Park met die hulp van borge en sakeondernemings in die dorp tot sy voormalige glorie herstel. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buiten die opwindende atletiek wat die naweek se byeenkoms opgelewer het, was die byeenkoms &#8216;n reuse- finansi\u00eble inspuiting vir die dorp. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vir meer inligting oor die klub se bedrywighede bel
