Three swimmers \u2013 SJ Nel, Elle-Anne Roper, and Tristan Venter \u2013 made some waves at the 4+1 Interprovincial Gala 2026 in Potchefstroom on 1 February. \r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These swimmers showed up with grit, focus, and a whole lot of heart. \r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fast lanes, personal breakthroughs, and proud moments all round \u2013 the hard work is clearly paying off, and this gala was proof that they are ones to watch. \r<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25a0 SJ \u2013 third in the 1 500m freestyle; fourth in the 800m freestyle; fourth in the 200m medley, third in the 200m backstroke, and fourth in the 50m backstroke.\r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25a0 Elle-Anne \u2013 second in 200m medley relay, seventh in 100m breaststroke.\r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
