A 21-year-old man from Kutlwanong was arrested for drug possession and dealing after officers from the Welkom Anti-Gang Unit acted on a tip-off and caught him with drugs suspected to be Nyaope, valued at approximately R1 500.\r<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The arrest took place on Saturday, April 5, in Kutlwanong. Members of the Anti-Gang Unit tracked down the suspect and witnessed what appeared to be a drug transaction between two men exchanging small plastic bags. One of the suspects escape. |The other fled into a nearby house and was apprehended. Searching the suspect, police discovered cash and 42 small plastic wraps believed to contain Nyaope.
