Sedert 2018 is die waterkrisis in die Goudveld iets lagwekkends en angswekkends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Veral inwoners van Riebeeckstad, Hennenman en Ventersburg word nou bykans weekliks op hul knie\u00eb gedwing wanneer die Matjhabeng-munisipaliteit doodeenvoudig die krane toedraai.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Wanbestuur is aan die orde van die dag en betalende inwoners van die Goudveld word geforseer om weekliks sonder water \u2013 wat lewens\u00adnoodsaaklik is \u2013 te sit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit omdat die regerende party nie vaardighede het om sake in en om die munisipaliteit te bestuur nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Flou verskonings van pompe wat breek of \u2019n tekort aan chemikalie\u00eb is al holrug gery.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Sedibeng Water en die Matjhabeng-munisipaliteit trek doodeenvoudig skouers op en reageer skaars op navrae. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit is sabotasie in die eerste graad, nie net teen onskuldige inwoners nie, maar ook elke onderneming van die Goudveld wat vir die broodnodige ekonomiese groei in die streek verantwoordelik is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan praat ons nie eens oor die Covid-19-pandemie, waarin water lewe of dood kan bepaal nie.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Ek vermoed my brief sal geen invloed op die voortslepende water\u00adkrisis van die Goudveld h\u00ea nie en soos gewoonlik op dowe ore val, maar ek hoop dat die belanghebbendes, insluitend die raadslede vir wie ons drie maande terug gestem het, sal weet hulle faal ? gemeenskap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deur nalatigheid \u2013 en onthou, ons belastingbetalers betaal jul salarisse \u2013 dobbel julle met inwoners se lewe.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
