Within a few hours, two petrol garages in Welkom were robbed by three foreigners fitting the same description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Capt. Stephen Thakeng, police spokesperson for Lejweleputswa, the Provincial Organised Crime Unit is following every lead to trace these suspects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both incidents occurred on Saturday (26\/03).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first incident transpired at a garage in Dagbreek. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThree armed men demanded cash and cartons of cigarettes. Both cash registers were taken,\u201d says Thakeng.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the suspects was wearing a red tracksuit top with light grey trousers. He was armed with a firearm and pepper spray. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second suspect was wearing grey pants, a black jacket and a black cap, while the third suspect was wearing black pants, a green jacket and a red cap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All three men had Lesotho accents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the second incident, the shift manager of a garage in Koppie Alleen Road was approached by three armed men. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Three suspects, fitting the same description, followed the same modus operandi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
